Amanda E. Palbus
Amanda E. Palbus joined Burns White in 2008 and is an Associate focusing on Medicare Set-Aside Arrangements in the settlement of workers’ compensation and general liability claims. She currently practices in the firm’s Pittsburgh office.
Ms. Palbus earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and History from Chatham University. She graduated cum laude in May of 2004. While at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor, Ms. Palbus was an Associate Editor for the University’s Pittsburgh Tax Review as well as a Certified Legal Intern for the Taxpayer Clinic.
Prior to joining Burns White, she was a law clerk and research attorney in Pittsburgh. During that time, she researched wills and estates issues.
Ms. Palbus is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Bar Association.

Outside of her legal career, Ms. Palbus cherishes time with her family. In her free time, she loves being with her two beautiful young children and two golden retrievers. Ms. Palbus also enjoys listening to music and reading history books. Rooted in Pittsburgh, she has been a big Steelers fan all of her life. Go Steelers!
