Attorney Katelyn Souders is an Associate in Burns White’s Workers’ Compensation practice, drawing on her litigation background to defend insurance companies, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation claims.
Ms. Souders started her career as an employment law attorney, focusing on discrimination and unemployment benefits matters. This experience has provided her with extensive knowledge and insights when managing a workers’ compensation claim.
A member of the Order of the Coif, Ms. Souders graduated cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received two CALI awards in International and Foreign Legal Research and Lawyering: A History. While in law school, Ms. Souders was Lead Research Editor of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy.
She is a self-published author and received her undergraduate degree in Non-Fiction Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ms. Souders is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
