Tara Param is an Associate of the Health Care and Long-Term Care group at Burns White, focusing her practice on defending nursing homes, hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers in medical malpractice and nursing home litigation.
Originally from Leeds, England, Ms. Param gained experience in a wide range of civil law matters, including those involving labor and employment, personal injury, immigration, and tax law, through summer law clerk positions she held in both the United States and in England. She also held a legal internship for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs.
Ms. Param graduated from Cornell Law School in 2016. While there, she served as Managing Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and participated in Cornell’s Legal Research Clinic, as well as the Attorneys for Children Clinic. Ms. Param received an M.A. with distinction in Politics and International Relations from Durham University in 2013. She obtained a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University in 2012.
Ms. Param is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
