Biography

Claire DeMarshall is an Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office, focusing her practice in the area of Healthcare and Long-Term care law. Ms. DeMarshall defends doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters.

 Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. DeMarshall served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Richard L. Hertzberg performing extensive legal research, drafting memos and legal documents.  She also served as a Legal Extern for the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office arguing motions, preparing detention hearings and police officers for testimony.   

 Ms. DeMarshall received her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School, cum laude.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Temple University. 

 Ms. DeMarshall is licensed to practice in law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
