Courtney A. King
Biography
Courtney A. King is an Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Ms. King focuses her practice on the defense of nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and medical professionals in nursing home and medical malpractice claims.
Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. King was a Public Defender for the Allegheny County Office of Public Defenders where she provided representation, consultation and advice to clients during criminal investigative proceedings.
Ms. King received her Juris Doctor and a Business Advising Certificate from Widener Law Commonwealth. At West Virginia University, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in political science and a minor in history. During her second year of law school, Ms. King was an Extern at the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors where she conducted research that led to the creation of Act 25, which now allows for live stream education for realtor licensing requirements.
Ms. King is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
