Douglas G. Stadler is an Associate in Burns White’s Energy Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of mineral law, real estate and energy law, with a focus on issues related to the development and purchase of oil, gas and other minerals in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
Mr. Stadler has extensive experience drafting and reviewing certified title opinions. He has also managed projects involving the examination of assets and preparation of due diligence reports to assist exploration and production companies’ evaluations of fee and leasehold acreage for acquisitions and divestitures. Further, Mr. Stadler has participated in trial preparation, discovery and document review for complex oil and gas litigation. Prior to joining Burns White, Mr. Stadler worked as an Associate in the energy and real estate practice group in the Pittsburgh office of large national law firm.
Mr. Stadler received his Juris Doctor from the Villanova University School of Law. He also attended Villanova University for his undergraduate education, earning a bachelor’s degree in Humanities with a minor in Business Law. While an undergraduate, Mr. Stadler was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and served as the captain of Villanova’s NCAA Division I Men’s Golf team.
Mr. Stadler is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
