Associate Mary (Mamie) Phillips is a talented litigator who defends hospitals, physicians, and long-term care facilities in professional and general liability claims.
A former Assistant District Attorney in the Major Crimes Division in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, Ms. Phillips handled homicide, vehicular homicide, robbery, burglary, drug, and major felony cases. She successfully prosecuted seven first-degree murders and more than 25 jury trials to verdict. In addition, she served as a law clerk in Monroe County, Pennsylvania for both the Hon. Ronald E. Vican and the Hon. Jonathan Mark.
Ms. Phillips is a graduate of The Widener University School of Law, and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
