Members T.H. Lyda and Edwin B. Palmer authored an article in the April 2013 edition of The PIOGA Press, a monthly newsletter of the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association. Titled “Can you keep a secret? Trade secret challenges under Act 13,” the article looks at Act 13’s ability to strike a balance between drilling companies’ interests in keeping their proprietary chemical additives to frac fluid confidential and the public’s interest in learning about potential health concerns from exposures to these unknown chemicals.
