Biography
Elizabeth A. Williams is a healthcare defense litigator with over ten years of experience representing healthcare providers, including physicians, hospitals, and long-term care providers in southeastern Pennsylvania. Her cases generally involve allegations of malpractice and often catastrophic injuries with high financial exposure.
Ms. Williams also has experience representing healthcare providers in mass tort litigation involving medical devises and various premises liability matters.
Before joining Burns White, Ms. Williams practiced at two Philadelphia-area defense firms where she also handled medical professional liability and premises liability matters in the hospital and nursing home setting.
Ms. Williams received her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she received the Certificate for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Methods II/Advocacy. While in law school, Ms. Williams served as a summer intern for the Hon. Lowell A. Reed Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts of degree in History from Barnard College at Columbia University.
Ms. Williams is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is Of Counsel in Burns White’s Philadelphia and West Conshohocken offices.
