Attorneys Lyda & Sigurdson Secure Voluntary Discontinuance with Prejudice on Behalf of Class I Railroad

Attorneys T.H. Lyda and Richard Sigurdson secured a discontinuance with prejudice and on the merits on behalf of a major Class 1 railroad in a lung cancer case brought pursuant to the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”), 45 U.S.C. §51 et seq., filed in Albany County, New York.  The underlying Plaintiff, a sheet metal worker, failed to establish asbestos exposure incident to his railroad employment.
