Biography
Robert A. Weinheimer is Of Counsel in Burns White’s Pittsburgh office. Mr. Weinheimer has extensive trial experience handling insurance coverage, products liability, automobile, trucking, homeowners, and construction claims throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Burns White, Mr. Weinheimer was a founding partner of the firm DiBella Weinheimer. He has actively practiced in insurance defense work since his admission to the Bar in 1982.
Mr. Weinheimer is a seasoned trial attorney, trying to verdict multi-million dollar construction cases involving multiple parties and architectural issues. He has also handled to verdict serious bodily injury claims, including death and brain damage, arising out of construction issues, automobile accidents and homeowners’ insurance claims. In addition, he has represented clients in UM/UIM arbitrations as well as functioning as an arbitrator for such claims.
Mr. Weinheimer received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, Evening Division. He received his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Weinheimer is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
