Attorney Blair represented an urgent care client in a dog bite case that led to an alleged undiagnosed infection. During the deposition, the Plaintiff acknowledged that a claim had been filed against the dog owners, which was subsequently settled with the property insurance carrier. Neither the Plaintiff or counsel had a copy of the release. Attorney Blair subpoenaed the claim file and was able to locate the general release. A Motion for Summary Judgement was immediately filed and the court in Berks County granted the motion. Law Clerk Emma Schurmeier assisted.
