Biography

Alicia Renee Dowdy is an Associate in Burns White’s Philadelphia office. Ms. Dowdy defends doctors, hospitals and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters.

Prior to accepting a position with the firm, Ms. Dowdy served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable H. Matthew Curry in the Criminal Division of the Warren County Superior Court.

Ms. Dowdy earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School, where she was the 2025 Zelda K. Herrmann Memorial Cup Award Recipient. She graduated cum laude from Stevenson University with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and a minor in Psychology.

Ms. Dowdy is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
