Biography

Amelia Salem Rashid is an Associate at the firm’s Pittsburgh office, focusing her practice on Healthcare and Long-Term Care law, defending doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters.

Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. Rashid was an attorney at a Pittsburgh firm where she defended clients in matters related to medical malpractice. 

Ms. Rashid received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Saint Vincent College.

Ms. Rashid is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
