Biography
Diane C. Howell is Of Counsel in Burns White’s Philadelphia office. Ms. Howell focuses her practice on Healthcare and Long-Term Care law, defending doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Howell was Assistant Regional Counsel at the United States Department of Health and Human Services, where she provided litigation services, legal advice, and counseling to the Office of Head Start and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Ms. Howell received her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law, where she was a member of the Howard Law Journal. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, cum laude, from Hampton University. Ms. Howell was also a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Ms. Howell is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
