Biography

Dianna Calaboyias Wyrick is a Member in Burns White’s Pittsburgh office where she splits her practice between commercial litigation and appellate work.  As a member of the litigation team, she primarily works as a member of the Healthcare group representing doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in a variety of liability matters including medical malpractice.  As a member of the firm’s Appellate group, Ms. Wyrick handles appeals in both federal and state courts.

Over her more than 30-year career, Ms. Wyrick has litigated commercial business disputes for clients in a variety of fields.  She has litigated complex commercial disputes in multiple areas including defending managed care companies in bad faith litigation, litigating disputes between medical providers and health insurers, and litigating commercial disputes on behalf of manufacturing, construction, commercial leasing, and financial services companies. She has extensive courtroom, trial, and arbitration experience.  Over the years, Ms. Wyrick has also briefed and argued many appeals in state and federal courts.

Ms. Wyrick received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, summa cum laude, where she was a member of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, cum laude, from Ohio University.
