Biography
Dianna Calaboyias Wyrick is a Member in Burns White’s Pittsburgh office where she splits her practice between commercial litigation and appellate work. Over her more than 30-year career, Ms. Wyrick has litigated commercial business disputes for clients in a variety of fields with a concentration in the health care industry. In the health care industry, Ms. Wyrick has litigated complex contract and pricing disputes between medical providers and health insurers, defended managed care companies in high-stakes bad faith litigation, and represented pharmaceutical and peer review companies in both state and federal cases. Ms. Wyrick also has represented clients in litigating commercial disputes in the manufacturing, construction, commercial leasing, and financial services industries. She has extensive courtroom, trial, and arbitration experience and has briefed and argued many appeals in state and federal courts.
At Burns White, Ms. Wyrick continues to represent her clients in litigating commercial disputes including breach of contract matters, leasing matters, and minority shareholder disputes. In addition, she assists the Healthcare group in representing doctors, hospitals, and long-term healthcare facilities in a variety of liability matters including contractual and negligent hiring claims. As a contributor to the firm’s Appellate group, Ms. Wyrick continues her work in handling appeals in both federal and state courts.
Ms. Wyrick received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, summa cum laude, where she was a member of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, cum laude, from Ohio University.
