Biography

Julianne K. Cefalu is Of Counsel in the firm’s Healthcare and Long-Term Care practice group located in the Chatham, New Jersey office.  Ms. Cefalu defends medical professionals, healthcare providers and healthcare facilities in medical malpractice and professional liability claims.

Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. Cefalu was in-house counsel for a large insurance company and managed a high volume caseload of general liability litigation. Before going in-house, Ms. Cefalu spent her legal career practicing medical malpractice defense law for a private firm.   

Ms. Cefalu received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, from Muhlenberg College.

Ms. Cefalu is licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
