Biography
Lori D. Lewis is a Member in the firm’s Healthcare and Long-Term Care practice group. Ms. Lewis, a seasoned litigator, defends medical professionals, healthcare providers and healthcare facilities in medical malpractice and professional liability claims.
Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. Lewis was a Partner at a New Jersey firm where she focused her practice in the areas of medical malpractice and premises liability, representing psychologists and Physician’s Assistant, hospitals, physicians and nurses in medical malpractice and board claims. She also served as panel counsel for a large New Jersey Hospital where she frequently presented on various topics for hospital employees.
Ms. Lewis received her Juris Doctor from New York Law School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from New York University where she received the Founder’s Day Award.
Ms. Lewis is licensed to practice law in State and Federal Courts in New Jersey.
