Biography
Maxwell A. Johnson is an Associate located in Burns White’s Chatham, New Jersey Office. Mr. Johnson focuses his practice focuses on the defense of professional malpractice, personal injury, defamation and complex civil litigation matters.
Prior to joining Burns White, Mr. Johnson represented clients in matters related to personal injury, professional malpractice, defamation and insurance law, and complex civil ligation matters related to product liability, contract disputes and construction liability.
While attending Rutgers Law School for his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Johnson served as Staff Editor and Associate Managing Editor of the Rutgers International Law and Human Rights Journal. He was also awarded the Chief Justice Richard J. Hughes Prize for Excellence in New Jersey Civil Practice. Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from William Patterson University where he majored in History and minored in Philosophy.
Mr. Johnson is licensed to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
