Biography
Melanie M. Jones is an Associate in Burns White’s Pittsburgh headquarters in the Railroad Law Practice Group where she represents Class I and short line railroads in cases that involve allegations of personal and occupational injuries and wrongful death.
Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. Jones worked at a Pittsburgh area firm where she represented corporate clients in complex commercial litigation, contractual disputes, antitrust, employment and personal injury matters.
Ms. Jones received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Administration of Justice, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ms. Jones is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
