Premier Railroad Industry Thought Leader to Join Burns White’s Railroad Law Practice Group

Burns White announced today that J. Roy Nunn would join the firm on September 1, 2022 as Counsel in the Railroad Law practice group. Nunn joins Burns White from CSX Transportation, Inc., where he served as Assistant General Counsel for nearly 20 years. He will be associated with the firm’s New York office.

Nunn is an accomplished legal counselor, advocate and change agent, providing thought leadership, subject matter expertise, and oversight for process-driven systems and case management, to optimize litigation results and efficiencies, and mitigate enterprise risk.

Prior to his role at CSX, Nunn served as Resident Managing Partner for the law firm Anspach, Meeks & Nunn in Buffalo, New York, where he was accountable for the creation of a regional office and management and business growth. He was appointed first chair trial lawyer on several seven-figure and punitive exposure cases.
