Biography
Robert Rachlin is a Member in the Workers’ Compensation group at Burns White, and handles claims for clients in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rachlin clerked for the Honorable Susan Peikes Gantman, President Judge of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for analyzing the complete history of cases for substantive and procedural issues, and drafted legal opinions concerning a wide variety of civil and criminal law matters.
Mr. Rachlin received his J.D. cum laude from the Thomas R. Kline Drexel School of Law, where he was on the Dean’s List for two straight years, and was also a five-time recipient of the CALI Excellence Award for outstanding academic performance. During law school, Mr. Rachlin clerked for the Honorable Charles J. Cunningham, III, and was a full-time legal intern at Alva & Shuttleworth LLC, a well-known Philadelphia-based criminal defense boutique.
Mr. Rachlin received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from The Pennsylvania State University where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. During his time as an active fraternity member, his chapter raised over $1,000,000 for THON, which provides 100% of all donations to Hershey Medical Center for pediatric cancer.
