Biography
Rebecca H. Simms is an Associate in the Healthcare and Long-Term Care practice group in Burns White’s Philadelphia office. Ms. Simms focuses her practice on the defense of doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters. In addition, she counsels and defends individuals, corporations, and healthcare institutions in both professional and employment liability matters.
Prior to accepting a position with the firm, Ms. Simms worked as a law clerk at Burns White and other law firms, which focused their practices on employment and personal injury matters. Ms. Simms received her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology, summa cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island, where she played Division I softball.
Ms. Simms is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
