A flourishing Healthcare Litigation practice currently based in our Philadelphia office is expanding to Pittsburgh. We are seeking individuals to spearhead the work of a new client and assist with an expanding caseload. This new Pittsburgh-based team will defend nursing homes and medical malpractice claims. Team members will interact directly with clients while fully managing cases including discovery, hearings, depositions, trials, and more.

What we do…
- Responsible for supporting multiple attorneys in their day-to-day practice.
- Completing various administrative tasks, and serving as a point of contact and providing customer service to clients.
- Coordinate workflow to/from the Production Center, ensuring work is completed within deadlines and according to attorneys’ specifications.
- Make travel arrangements, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal logistics for space and other needs.
- Review client work products and get them out the door.
- Maintain filing systems (primarily electronic).
Ideal candidates are…
- At least two years’ PA litigation experience required.
- Strong technical skills including advanced MS Word and experience with document management systems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.
- Quick learner who can understand and follow specific, detailed instructions.
- Attentive to detail and highly accurate. Strong communication skills and professional manner with clients, attorneys, and others.

Equipment, Physical/Mental Demands, Working Conditions
Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, typewriter, calculator, fax machine, duplicating machine, etc.
Sitting for extended periods, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines. Range of hearing and vision sufficient to operate standard office machines and communicate with clients in person and via telephone.
Able to deal with stress in a fast-paced work environment with multiple priorities. Make decisions and adapt to changing work situations. Grasp and apply new ideas and technologies. Communicate and successfully interact with various personalities at all organizational levels.
Typical office setting, normally Monday through Friday business hours. Occasional overtime as required.
