Attorneys Damico & Jewart Secure Unanimous Defense Verdict in Railroad Cancer Case Following Two-Week Trial

On January 16, 2025, attorneys David Damico and Brandon Jewart obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a toxic tort railroad cancer case in the Hamilton County, OH (Cincinnati) Court of Common Pleas. Plaintiff alleged that he developed cancer as a result of exposure to diesel exhaust throughout his 38-year railroad career. After a two-week-long trial, the jury deliberated for less than an hour and a half before rendering a unanimous verdict in favor of the railroad defendant.
