Burns White LLC announced today that attorneys Jeffrey Adler, Mary-Jo Rebelo, and Matthew G. Brouse have been elected to leadership roles at the firm. Mr. Adler and Ms. Rebelo are now Chief Operating Officers, Eastern Region and Western Region, respectively. Mr. Brouse is part of the Executive Committee. They assumed their new responsibilities on January 1, 2020.
The changes are the result of a new organizational structure designed to support the firm’s continued growth in the Mid-Atlantic Region. “Successfully operating multiple offices in five states required us to create a leadership structure that facilitates consistency and offers a solid foundation upon which to continue to build,” said David B. White who is now the firm’s Chief Executive Officer. “Heading into this new decade, we felt a more formal organization—with Chief Operating Officers on both sides of the state—would help to improve organizational efficiencies so that we can remain focused on our clients’ needs.”
Ms. Rebelo oversees operations in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Wheeling. Mr. Adler focuses on the firm’s Center City Philadelphia, Conshohocken, Wilkes-Barre, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and Wilmington, Delaware offices. In addition, David A. Damico now serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Brouse joins David A. Damico, T. H. Lyda, William J. Mundy, D. Scott Newman, Stuart T. O’Neal on Burns White’s Executive Committee. He has been with the firm since 2009, and is the Chairperson of the firm’s Energy Law Practice Group.
