Attorney Brian Kane successfully defended a national automotive retail group in an arbitration involving claims the retailer violated the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law related to the sale of a used vehicle. The plaintiff sought a full refund of the purchase price of the vehicle, treble damages, and attorney fees. The arbitrators unanimously found in favor of the retail group concluding there was no evidence of a violation of the UTPCPL and no evidence of any damages.
