Biography
Andrew M. Kuzma is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing constituents in the Mon Valley and South Hills areas of Pittsburgh. He currently serves on the Pennsylvania House Committees for Local Government, Professional Licensure, Game and Fisheries, and Community Development.
Mr. Kuzma focus his practice in the areas of estates and trusts, elder law, personal injury, municipal law, and civil litigation. He represents municipal bodies and regularly appears before the Allegheny and Washington County Courts of Common Pleas. He previously served on the Elizabeth Township Board of Commissioners for six years, one of which he served as President.
Mr. Kuzma has gained national media attention for introducing legislation in the Pennsylvania General Assembly to ban Tianeptine, commonly referred to as “Gas Station Heroin.” The legislation focuses on saving lives and combating the ongoing drug epidemic.
A native of western Pennsylvania, Mr. Kuzma received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Kuzma is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
