Biography
Anthony J. Montalbano is an Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office, focusing his practice in the area of Healthcare and Long-Term care law. Mr. Montalbano defends doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters.
Prior to joining Burns White, Mr. Montalbano was an attorney at a Philadelphia area firm where he represented clients in both state and federal cases, including matters related to employment, discrimination, malicious prosecution, excessive force, wrongful convictions and other 42 U.S.C. Section 1983 violations. He also was an English as a Second Language Teacher for the Jazykova Skola Praha in the Czech Republic.
Mr. Montalbano received his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School, cum laude. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Child Psychology, cum laude, from Long Island University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Linguistics from Stony Brook University. Mr. Montalbano received is Trinity Certificate in TESOL from Oxford TEFL.
Mr. Montalbano is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
