Brandon B. Jewart
Biography
Brandon B. Jewart is an Associate in Burns White’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania headquarters. Mr. Jewart is in the Railroad Law Practice Group representing Class I and short line railroads in cases that involve allegations of personal and occupational injuries and wrongful death.
Mr. Jewart graduated from Boston College Law School in May 2019, supplementing his studies by working as a student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic at the law school’s Legal Services Lab. He was also Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, a Public Interest Designation Fellow, and he received a Certificate of Pro Bono Excellence for his work while in law school.
Prior to joining Burns White, Mr. Jewart worked at several Boston-area law firms, researching legal matters, drafting memoranda and pleadings for use in state and federal litigation, and assisting with case preparation and management. Additionally, he served as a legal intern for the Massachusetts Department of Correction’s Legal Division. As an undergraduate at Boston University, Mr. Jewart received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, minored in Psychology, and received a certification in Paralegal Studies.
Mr. Jewart is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Allegheny County Bar Association.
