Biography
Emma L. Schurmeier is located in Burns White’s Philadelphia office, where she is an Associate in the Healthcare and Long-Term Care practice group. Ms. Schurmeier defends doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters.
Prior to accepting a position with the firm, Ms. Schurmeier worked as a summer law clerk at Burns White. Ms. Schurmeier received her Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Political Science, and Peace, War and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Ms. Schurmeier is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
