Biography

Mr. James D. Lamp is Of Counsel in the firm’s Huntington, West Virginia office where he focuses his practice on work as a trained mediator and arbitrator.

Prior to joining Burns White, Mr. Lamp practiced at his own West Virginia firm where he represented clients in various litigation matters and mediated hundreds of cases.

Mr. Lamp received his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts Degree from West Virginia University.

Mr. Lamp is admitted to practice law in West Virginia, Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the United States District Court of Appeals for the Fourth and Sixth Circuits and the United States Supreme Court.
