Biography
Joseph T. Healey (Jody) is a highly-skilled medical malpractice defense attorney who has been practicing for over 20 years. He has litigated and tried hundreds of cases throughout Pennsylvania, and has argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
In addition to medical malpractice, Mr. Healey has litigated numerous wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases arising from agricultural accidents throughout the state of Pennsylvania—from Franklin County in Southwest Pennsylvania to Susquehanna County in Northeast Pennsylvania
Mr. Healey is also an academician. He taught a Healthcare Law course as an adjunct professor at The Pennsylvania State University Scranton and Marywood University and authored four textbooks on civil litigation for paralegals. Mr. Healey has been recognized as a Rising Star Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine for five consecutive years. He is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the First and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Bars of Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
