Biography
Mary-Kate I. LaManna is an Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia office where she focuses her practice on the defense of nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and medical professionals in nursing home and medical malpractice claims.
Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. LaManna was an associate attorney representing clients in family law matters across southeastern Pennsylvania. She also served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Chester County Office of the District Attorney where she regularly conducted preliminary hearings on behalf of the Commonwealth.
Ms. LaManna received her Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School (Widener University), where she was a 3-year recipient of the Dean’s Select Merit Scholarship. She also received the Dean Arthur A. Weeks Outstanding Student Service Award. Ms. LaManna had previously received her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conversation from the University of Delaware.
Ms. LaManna is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
