Biography
Sydney M. Dougherty is an Associate in the Healthcare and Long-Term Care practice group in Burns White’s Philadelphia office. Ms. Dougherty focuses her practice on the defense of doctors, hospitals, and long-term care health facilities in medical malpractice and liability matters.
Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. Dougherty served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John C. Porto, Presiding Judge of the Civil Division of the Atlantic County Superior Court. She received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School. Ms. Dougherty received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing, cum laude, from Lehigh University, where she participated in the NCAA Division 1 Patriot League, Swimming and Diving.
Ms. Dougherty is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
