Burns White attorneys Christine Blair, SK Pilcher and William Mundy successfully argued that the plaintiff’s causation expert should be precluded for failing to comply with a court order requiring production of documents relied upon in forming the expert’s opinions. They also prevailed on several key motions in limine, which substantially limited the plaintiff’s ability to proceed with the case.
On the morning of jury selection, the court granted summary judgment in favor of the defense, resulting in a complete dismissal of all claims against the client before trial began.
