Attorneys Damico and Horvat Obtain Defense Verdict in Toxic Tort Railroad Cancer Case

On August 29, 2025, attorneys David Damico and Patrick Horvat obtained a defense verdict in a toxic tort railroad cancer case in the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County. The Plaintiff alleged that he developed cancer as a result of exposure to diesel exhaust throughout his 21 year railroad career. After a week-long trial, the jury rendered a verdict in favor of the railroad defendant.
