Attorneys Healey & Lokuta Receive Dismissal For Hospital

Attorneys Jody Healey and Fred Lokuta received a summary judgment dismissing all claims for an area hospital client in the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas. The Plaintiff alleged that she had fallen in a hospital’s emergency department parking lot. The discovery process revealed that the Plaintiff fell four days prior to what is alleged in the complaint, and as a result, the complaint was filed after the statute of limitations deadline. Attorneys Healey and Lokuta filed a motion for summary judgment, which the court granted, dismissing all claims against the defendants.
