Attorneys Stuart O’Neal, Daniel Margonari, Ken Rafferty, and Senior Paralegal Dawn Keiser, successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of prison medical providers in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The Plaintiff, a prisoner, brought claims pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against prison medical providers, alleging violations of his First and Eighth Amendment rights. Summary judgment was granted after Burns White successfully argued that Plaintiff failed provide evidence demonstrating that the Defendants denied care based on non-medical reasons or provided inadequate care.
