Burns White Attorney Adrienne Abner was a presenter at the Practicing Law Institute’s webinar on July, 27, 2022. The program was designed to train legal aid, nonprofit, and pro bono attorneys and allied professionals about substance use disorders impacting clients or family members of clients.
Faculty provided an overview of latest developments and the science of substance use disorder and recovery and also addressed key topics such as fighting discrimination and other barriers, as well as understanding partnership models and resources available to help clients with recovery.
