According to a 2009 media audit of Pittsburgh area magazines, Whirl reaches more than 132,000 readers each month, is available on 300 newsstands and is distributed in nearly 5,000 hotel rooms in the region. It also reaches more readers who earn at least $100,000 than any other publication in the Pittsburgh area.
