Attorneys Callahan & Woepse Receive Defense Verdict in Favor of Skilled Nursing Facility

On December 18, 2023, Attorneys Peter Callahan and Spencer Woepse received a complete defense verdict at arbitration in favor of a skilled nursing facility. Plaintiff, a resident of the nursing home, had alleged that improper inspection and maintenance of an elevator resulted in a mis-leveling event causing his wheelchair to tip over backwards striking his head. Plaintiff was alleging severe injuries including emergent spinal surgery.
