Defense Verdict Affirmed in Cardiac Stent Litigation

On February 27, 2019, the Pennsylvania Superior Court affirmed a defense verdict entered in the bellwether case of the Cardiac Stent litigation, which has been ongoing in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania since 2011. The Cardiac Stent litigation involves over 100 individual medical malpractice cases brought against two physicians and the health system at which they previously practiced.
