Four Attorneys Promoted To Membership Status

Burns White LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of four attorneys to Member, effective Jan. 1, 2022. These talented attorneys, located in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia have diverse legal practices that support the needs of our clients, and the growth of the organization.

Pittsburgh

Matthew J. Glenn is a Member of Burns White’s Real Estate and Energy Practice Groups. In these roles, he negotiates and drafts purchase sale agreements, deeds, leases, easements, mortgages, loan modifications, and other real estate agreements. Mr. Glenn also drafts oil and gas title opinions, advises energy clients on title curative issues, and handles closings of residential, commercial, and oil and gas properties.

Mr. Glenn is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Bryn Athyn College.  Mr. Glenn is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Philadelphia

Chad B. Gordon is a Member of the Workers’ Compensation Group at Burns White and is based out of the Philadelphia office. He assists third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and self-insured employers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to achieve expeditious and favorable solutions to their workers’ compensation claims.

Mr. Gordon graduated law school from Nova Southeastern University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University.  Mr. Gordon is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Sean P. O’Mahoney is a Member at Burns White located in the firm’s Philadelphia office. He is experienced in handling complex litigation matters in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. O’Mahoney focuses his practice on defending healthcare providers and medical professionals against professional and general liability matters.

Mr. O’Mahoney received his Juris Doctorate and Masters of Science degrees from the Roger Williams University School of Law, cum laude, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College.  Mr. O’Mahoney is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Marcy B. Tanker is an experienced trial attorney who has represented clients in a wide range of complex civil litigation matters, including professional malpractice, products liability, defamation, workers’ compensation, and automobile and premises liability in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania.

Ms. Tanker graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University.  Ms. Tanker is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
