Attorney Glyptis Received Dismissal on Behalf of Nursing Home Company& Related Healthcare Providers

Burns White Litigation Member Phillip Glyptis received an Order and Opinion in the Court of Common Pleas of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, awarding dismissal of a nursing home matter with prejudice and without any payment on behalf of the defendants. After over 4 years of litigation and the filing of dispositive motions, the Court dismissed Plaintiff’s claims of abuse, negligence, failure to evaluate and treat pressure wounds, and failure to have adequate care plans. Plaintiff also alleged violations of state and federal regulations governing care and staffing levels in nursing homes.
