Attorney Grill Secures Defense Verdict of Former Hospital Employee’s Claim

Attorney Jerry Grill secured a defense verdict of a former hospital employee’s claim in Lackawanna County, PA for unpaid, earned vacation time. The Plaintiff, as a registered nurse in a hospital, was a member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU Healthcare). Upon cross-examination, Plaintiff admitted to being in the Union and failed to give the required proper notice of resignation under the Collective Bargaining Agreement to receive any earned but unused vacation time.
