Attorneys Jeffrey Jackson and Brandon Jewart obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a railroad client in an occupational cancer case in Philadelphia County. The plaintiff alleged that he developed bladder cancer as a result of occupational exposure to secondhand smoke during the course of his forty years of railroad employment. After a four-day trial, the jury reached a defense verdict after deliberating for approximately 40 minutes.
During trial preparations and throughout the duration of trial, Jackson and Jewart received valuable assistance from Amanda Sargent and Amanda Clevenger.
