Representing all main segments of the maritime industry

Our team of maritime attorneys offers legal insights and skilled defense in all traditional admiralty, environmental, and maritime operations litigation.

Our maritime practice group primarily concentrates on defending claims under the Jones Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA). We have considerable experience in investigating and litigating  general maritime claims and cases involving asbestos, benzene and chemical exposure throughout the country. Our practice covers both federal and state courts and includes appellate practice.

Our services are frequently provided to vessel owners and operators in matters involving personal injury and wrongful death involving toxic torts and occupational disease litigation. We understand how shipowners need to operate on a local and global scale. We advocate for our clients to cost-effectively resolve claims arising from personal injury or death and toxic torts. Our team’s approach is to provide as thorough a defense as possible in an economical manner with the goal of minimizing client risk and legal fees. We will vigorously defend any litigation brought against our clients. With this approach, when disputes cannot be resolved, clients rely on our team to try cases to favorable verdict.
