Attorneys O’Neal, Riley & Kaminski Successfully Defend Lackawanna County Hospital

Attorneys Stuart O’Neal, Amy Riley, and Michelle Kaminski were recently successful in defending a Lackawanna County Hospital in a medical malpractice action. The Hospital was voluntarily dismissed from the action with no payment made on its behalf. The case involved an alleged delay in diagnosing appendicitis in a minor patient during an emergency department presentation. It was alleged that this delay allowed for perforation, infection, and the necessity of a more complicated surgical procedure with associated scarring and emotional trauma to the child.
